WELCOME TO
Hands to save Ugandan children (HASUC) is Non-Government Organization that focuses on educating and meeting the medical needs of orphans and vulnerable children throughout Uganda. Many children in Uganda go without basic education and medical care, resulting in many problems later in life. HASUC works to protect the most vulnerable of children, by helping guardians and parents find sustainable sources of livelihood. HIV and malaria take the lives of so many children every year. HASUC provides medication and screening to mitigate these life-threatening diseases.
HASUC facilitates structured overseas volunteer placement for nurses, students, teachers, general skills, and those who are willing to offer their time, skills and psychosocial supports to love our children.

OUR CURRENT PROGRAMMES
Empowerment and Education
We are currently trying to construct a primary school, High and vocational institution in order to give disabled children, orphans, and needy children formal education and skills.
Food Security and Nutrition.
We are currently raising funds to purchase land to begin forms of self-sustaining income to generate money for a clinic and school. Once land is obtained, we plan to carry on with agriculture to provide food and money.
Community Health
Today, nearly 10,000 children under age 5 will die of mostly preventable causes, such as diarrhea, malaria, and pneumonia. We focus on ensuring child and maternal health by promoting health and nutrition practices and preventing major causes of disease.
Climate change and environmental Conservation
We are currently carrying out afforestation and its on small scale and we are looking for funds to carry out afforestation on large scale. The funds will cater for buying more land, management and seedlings purchase.

Hands to Save Ugandan Children (HASUC) welcomes the opportunity for more volunteers to come and share their skills with our staff. We are dedicated to sustainability, recruiting, and retaining the high skilled and experienced workers in Uganda.
We welcome applications locally and internationally. Grant Officers, Health workers, medical teams, intern groups, doctors, nurses, teachers, social workers, counselors, and students who are interested in volunteering with us are always welcome.

Leadership
Prefects’ Body
A new pupil’s leadership body was elected, giving pupils for the first time the opportunity to conduct open campaigns for the positions they wanted. The process started with formal written applications, short-listing by the teachers, interviews, and finally opens campaigns. It is a memorable opportunity to see pupils campaign and use their democracy to elect leaders of their own choices.
Orphans need care. Many children are special needs and require additional care. It is our goal to give every orphan health, vocational training, life skills, emotional/psychosocial support, counseling, recreation, religious support, scholastic materials, and transport to health units, a roof over their head, and education. Without supporting and educating these orphans and vulnerable children, they will have no choice but to live as beggars on the streets
